The Adelaide Sevens provides a raft of fun opportunities for SA Rugby Clubs, so get involved in 2010!

Whether you’re a junior or senior player or a Back who excels at the 100 metre dash, we have activities to suit you over the March 19-21 weekend. Details about each available activity are below.  To enter, simply download the corresponding entry form

Walla Sevens

Want to play on the Adelaide Oval?  We are looking for young South Australian Rugby players to represent their club in a lead-up exhibition match on the Friday night of Sevens.  If you are 7-8 years old and would love the chance to play on the Adelaide Oval, then get your Club send us the attached form with your team’s details.

Parade of Nations

16 lucky 12-year-old Rugby players have the opportunity to carry a flag for one of the 16 participating countries at this year’s Adelaide Sevens. If you would like to participate in the Parade of Nations on Friday, March 19, then ask your Club to send us the attached form.

Fastest Club Man – $100 Kukri voucher to be won!

Think you can run the length of the Rugby field quicker than your SA counterparts?  A new competition at this year’s Adelaide Sevens, the Fastest Club Man is open to SA Club players and will be run on Sunday March 21. We are looking for just one entry from each SA Club and you will need to run in your Club kit. So, if you’re the fastest at your Club then ask your Club to submit the entry form in and get your running shoes ready!

Junior Wallaby for Finals Rugby!

Four young South Australian registered players have the chance to carry the match ball onto the field of play at the start of each of the four finals on Sunday, March 21.  If you are between 8 and 12 years old get your Club to send in your nomination form. You will need to wear your Club kit if you are the lucky player.

Club Expo Tent

SA Rugby has once again set up an expo tent within the Sevens Central area of the Adelaide Oval for the Saturday and Sunday of Sevens. This is an opportunity for your Club to promote itself and recruit players.  This year, Sevens Central is within the food and beverage precinct, so it’s a terrific opportunity to round up support for local Rugby!  Clubs who wish to participate need to send an application form.
